The Kent Harrison Arts Council: Artist in Residence Programs
The Kent Harrison Arts Council Residency program is a one-year contract running from early July to late June.
The annual residency provides a spacious semi-furnished 2-bedroom suite with adjoining studio space on the second floor of the Ranger Station Art Gallery.
In exchange for this space the Artist in Residence is expected to devote an average of ten hours per week to the operation of the Arts Council and the Ranger Station Art Gallery. The majority of this time will be spent working in the Gallery on Saturdays, Sundays and holiday Mondays .
The Artist in Residence will also present a month-long art exhibit of their work and organize public outreach programs and/or workshops.
The 2024-2025 KHAC Artists in Residence are Zoe Kirk-Gushowaty and Dan Siney.

In addition to the annual residency program, the KHAC offers several 2-3 day short term pOP uP residencies, as scheduling allows between shows. pOp uP residencies are a variation on our regular programming and a new use of the gallery space as an Open Studio where artists will be able to work, display and sell their art.
